Springing into Spring--March 2021

March started off GLORIOUSLY and was truly just a wonderful month. It was such a needed and welcomed reprieve from the previous month. February was hard for our family with the loss of my father in law and the horrible weather.

March 1st happens to be my birthday and I celebrated with a new cut and a little color in my hair. It was a nice day.
School is going well. We are still trying to decide what curriculum and approaches work best for us, but we're getting there.
First catch of the year!

Eli could fish all day every day I think. He loves it.
Working on some math review with place value.
We briefly welcomed a couple guinea pigs into our home, but ultimately ended up gifting them to my niece who fell in love with them. She liked them much more than we did! lol

Rat and Pig now happily, and more peacefully, live with Kaylyn in her room. Less people and less animals to shock them so they seem to be much happier there with her.

My lifelong friend, Kali, who also happens to be a speech language pathologist offered to work with Isaac on his articulation and speech. He's doing great! Working on the /k/ /t/ /g/ /d/ sounds. :)

We also took a class on fairy gardens at a local greenhouse. The boys had a blast. (my pocket book, not so much. Those things are PRICEY!)

NEW BOOKS!!

Cooking with Nana!

Eli working on math. We are loving teaching textbooks so far. The boys don't mind it at all and I love how it does the work for me!
Working on our Barton reading and spelling program.
New game. :)
Grammar and Punctuation work.

My cousin, Brett, was back briefly with his new son, Asher. We finally got to meet the little sweetie. It was so good for my heart to see him and have most of my family together. I didn't get very many pictures, but several of us were able to be there that day.

Emerson and Asher. Emerson finally has someone smaller than him!
Aunt Lissa got to keep this cutie a few days while his mommy worked. I sure do love this little boy.
Uncle TJ is pretty fond of him too.

All in all, it was a good month.
